From live data to history
The live dashboard is the first step. The second is history: understanding how temperature, light, wind, rain, lightning and observing conditions change over time.
History makes the project more useful because it enables comparison, memory and analysis. Not only “what is it like now”, but “how has it changed”.
Periodic images
The Raspberry Pi camera opens a second line: connecting numerical data and images. A day can be reread through charts and frames.
This will make the journal richer: not only values, but visual evidence.
Code and documentation
Part of the project may become reusable documentation: sensor layout, ESP32 firmware, PHP ingest, database structure and dashboard.
Not to turn it into a product, but to make it useful for anyone who wants to build something similar.
