Delete your account.

You can delete your Ivrea Observatory account yourself. Personal data is deleted; observations remain only as anonymous community memory.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to Ivrea Observatory.
  2. Open My sky, then Settings.
  3. In Permanently delete account, enter your password.
  4. Confirm the action.

Go to account settings

If you cannot sign in, email info@ivreaobservatory.it from the email address associated with the account.

What is deleted

  • email address and hashed password;
  • display name, preferences and profile data;
  • email verification and password reset tokens;
  • personal statistics and authentication records associated with the account.

What is retained

Astronomical observations saved through “I saw it” may be retained for statistical and educational purposes, but are anonymized: they no longer contain links to the account, session, anonymized IP address or device.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible, except for any data that must be retained to comply with legal obligations.
